Mansfield Christmas Parade
Time:

Parade is scheduled beginning at 2 p.m.

The holiday season is fast approaching and the Mansfield Alive Committee has been busy planning one of the City’s most anticipated yearly events, the Annual Christmas Parade. The committee is planning one of the largest parades to date… pulling out all the stops. They anticipate more participation and entries than ever before. So make ready for a bevy of beautifully decorated floats and automobiles, more marching bands, and of course, the perennial visit from ole St. Nick himself.

Entrants can begin lining up at 11:00 a.m., with all units in place by 1:30p.m. You may enter the parade in any one of the following categories: floats, automobiles (cars, trucks, and vans), marching bands, performing/marching units for under 10 years of age and 10 years of age and up. Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third place winners in each category. The entry fee is $25.00.

To enter the parade, cut out the entry form attached to this article and mail or drop it off at City Hall, along with the entry fee. Entry forms are also available at online at www.cityofmansfield.net or at City Hall. The mailing address is: City of Mansfield, Christmas Parade, and P.O. Box 773, Mansfield, LA 71052. The physical address is: 705 Polk Street, Mansfield, LA. Forms and fees mailed in should be addressed to the attention of: Marvin Jackson. Entry forms can be faxed to 318/872-0406, with the fee mailed or delivered to the addresses above, as soon as possible.
