| Third Annual Anything over Rice Cook Off and Poker Run to benefit Animal Aid Vermilion Area (AAVA). AAVA is a foster based animal rescue who's main foccus is on the Vermilion Parish Animal Control which currently does not allow for public adoptions. AAVA stands as the liason between the facility and the public. One of our main goals is to network to get all of the animals taken in or dropped off at the facility into loving fur-ever homes. This event helps in raising the funds we desperately need to help us pay for vet bills, food, shelter, and many other much needed things to aid in rescuing the cats and dogs in the shelter. |
