The Bayou Pirates Kayak Fishing Club will host a kayak bass tournament benefiting Heroes on the Water on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Red River National Wildlife Refuge. Entry fees are $20 and registration opens at 5:30 a.m. This is a "catch, photo and release" tournament. The Red River National Wildlife Refuge is located at 150 Eagle Bend Point in Bossier City, just off of Arthur Ray Teague Parkway. All proceeds will be donated to Heroes on the Water, a program that aids wounded and disabled veterans.
