Get into the carnival spirit with live music featuring Geno Delafose & French Rockin' Boogie! This event is dedicated to preserving and promoting our distinct Cajun and Creole roots that are traced back to the city’s rich history. This celebration is held the Friday before Mardi Gras day every year. Along with the festivities, there will be face-painting and a contest for the best Mardi Gras costume with prizes to be given away. Because beverages sales for the concert series go towards covering the cost of bands and event expenses, ice chests will not be allowed. Beverages and food will be available for purchase on site.
