Showtunes Sing-Along

WHEN:  7-11 p.m.

Envision da Berry is sponsoring a Showtunes Sing-Along evening on Aug. 31, 2013 starting at 7 p.m. at Des Amis Dining and Catering in downtown New Iberia. Broadway in "the Berry" is here to stay. Showtunes shows no sign of stopping as the numbers keep growing and the citizens of New Iberia continue to let the sound of musicals into their lives. 

The event will feature a live pianist, Shane Courville, who will play a continuous rousing medley of popular Broadway musical hits. People are encouraged to become part of the entertainment and sing along. The sing-along is inspired by a divey showtunes piano bar in Manhattan's Greenwich Village called Marie's Crisis Cafe.

The entry is free but organizers will be collecting tips and donations in a jar on the grand piano. Envision da Berry will also sell T-shirts. All proceeds will go towards Envision da Berry's next project.
