 Creole Culture Day

Join us for this free event to explore how the Creole community maintains and develops its heritage. There will be activities for the whole family such as crafts and games for children, boat tours and canoeing, live music by juré singers the Broussard Sisters and Zydeco legends Jeffery Broussard & the Creole Cowboys, a Creole Jam open to all levels, film showings, cooking demonstrations (crawfish and tasso pasta, Sausage Creole and sweet dough pies), dance lessons, presentations on Creole genealogy, language and more. The theme of this year’s Creole Culture Day is “Where We Come From.”
