Vermilionville’s is continuing to host monthly workshops that will allow you to learn crafts from our master artisans. On the first Saturday of every month, we will highlight a different craft from the old Acadian, Creole and Native American ways of life. During May’s outdoor workshop on edible wild plants, you will learn from Mark Suter of Primitive Texas. The class will consist of wild plant identification, plants to avoid and how to incorporate plants that are edible into an every-day diet. Cost is $30 per person, and participants must be registered in advance.
