This unique event begins with a Christmas parade at 10am Saturday morning. The Settlement opens each day at noon until 5pm. The cabins will be decked out in decorations appropriate to the period as will your hosts and hostesses. Enjoy sassafras tea or hot apple cider while listening to singers and musicians on the porches. There will be historical demonstrations and a period-production play, as well as civil war reenactors. |
