 Iowa Rabbit Festival
Time: Fri. 5 p.m. - midnight, Sat. 10 a.m. - midnight and Su. 10 a.m. thorugh 5 p.m. 
Walking around Southwest Lake Charles during the month of March, you'll notice a lot of talke about rabbits. From rabbit gumbo and rabbit jambalaya to MIss Bunny it's time for the annual Iowa Rabbit Festival. Held annually in March, the Rabbit Festival is a one-of-a-kind event that celebrates the economic and tasty impact that these furry creatures have on Louisiana's economy. In true Louisiana festival style, the Rabbit Festival kicks off with the crowning of Miss  Bunny, how will go on to represent the festival at ot her state-wide festivals an competitions.

In addition to rabbits, the festival also features live music, and everyone gets involved.
