What better way to celebrate Jefferson Parish during the Louisiana Bicentennial Celebration then to have a Seafood Festival?  And, what better place than Jean Lafitte!  Named for the infamous pirate, Jean Lafitte, this quaint coastal town is renown for its great fishing and trapping.  Jean Lafitte is rich in heritage, tradition, seafood, and an appreciation of the water and the land.  Join us in celebrating 200 years of Louisiana history as you enjoy live music, local artisan booths, craft vendors, a variety of seafood dishes, kid's activities, and Bicentennial activities.  (Parking is available in the rear of City Hall and the Museum).
