 Natchez Heritage Festival
Time: 6:15 pm to 8 pm
  The village of Natchez is southeast of Natchitoches and was the last home of the Natchez Indians after they were defeated by the French in 1731. This village was not established until the Texas and Pacific Railroad came through in 1938.
Natchez is the gateway to the Cane River National Heritage Area.
