Washington Garden Club High Tea

When:
Apr 17, 2016
Event Description:
 Washington Garden Club High Tea
Time: 2:00pm

The Washington Garden Club's High Tea is the perfect excuse to put on that fancy dress that's been hanging in the closet. Hosted in the historic steamboat town of Washington, this event offers an assortment of teas, local entertainment, and fine dining. All foods are prepared and served by members of the garden club and volunteers.

Scenes from The Free State of Jones, starring Matthew Mcconaughey, were shot at the Garden Club's headquarters, St. John's Episcopal Church. In light of the new film, everyone will be treated like a celebrity at this year's event, themed "Lights, Camera, Action, Tea!"

The Washington Garden Club is dedicated to advancing the study of horticulture, floral and landscape design; to protecting and conserving our natural resources and using this knowledge for home and town beautification and preservation.
