Green Onion Salad

Serves 8

Recipe courtesy of The Culinary Institute of America Cookbook

Ingredients: 
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ​1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice wine (mirin)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds, smashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Korean red pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups green onions (scallions) julienne

Method: 

Combine the sugar, sesame oil, rice wine, sesame seeds, red pepper powder and salt.

​Toss together the dressing with the scallions just before serving.
