More than 200 different wines and spirits will be provided for sampling, thanks to Select Brands and their distribution partners. Also featured will be several local eateries, serving up samples of their fine cuisine. This includes: Basin Seafood, Café Carmo, Chad’s Bistro, Cibugnu, Jezz’s Kitchen, Frenier Landing, Ralph’s at the Park, Semolina, Serendipity, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Brazilian Market & Café and more.

The 2013 Big Easy Awards Best Emerging Artist nominees Alexis & The Samurai will entertain guests. This pair of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists has been garnering national attention after her appearance on NBC’s “The Voice” and playing shows at venues across the country including The Kennedy Center.

Patron tickets are $100 (includes early admittance at 6 pm, a special VIP area, and special thanks in the event program), Advance tickets are $60. Group discounts are available for $50 when purchasing 6 or more tickets. Tickets at the door are $70. Guests can also purchase raffle tickets to win a 200-bottle wine collection as well as other great prizes provided by local area retailers and restaurants. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 for $20.

The Foundation for Entertainment, Development & Education is a nonprofit dedicated to providing grant funding for educational projects in the performing arts. In 2013, they were able to give out over $25,000 to local area music and theater programs.
