Access and Lakeview Regional Medical Center present BooFest 2015 to benefit children with disabilities and their families. The event is 10am-3pm and admission is $2. Gates open at 9:30 for special needs families. 

BooFest is packed with fall fun, including Trick-or-Treating, games, arts and crafts including pumpkin decorating, entertainment with music and sing-alongs, photo booth, food & beverages, awards ceremony for grant recipients, and costume contests for Cutest, Scariest, Most Original, or Best Group. 

More than 60 business and families will populate Lakeview Regional Medical Center’s park in front of the hospital with or cute or creepy trick-or-treat houses. Children of all abilities will be able to easily access the houses along the paved walking path. 

Boo Fest is home to the Northshore Area Board of Realtors Chili Challenge. Teams will use their culinary talents to create cauldrons of the area’s best Chili! Purchase a bowl and vote for your favorite! 

The mission of ACCESS, Adapting and Changing Children's Environment with Successful Solutions is to help support children with disabilities and their families in order to improve their quality of life. ACCESS has dispersed grants for van modifications, custom and power wheelchairs, adaptive bicycles, special needs car seats, home modifications, augmentative communication devices, and other important durable medical equipment to families residing in the Gulf South region to improve the quality of life for these children and their families.
