The New Orleans Museum of Art and Ralph Brennan's Café NOMA are hosting the inaugural Edible Book DaA program on Friday, April 5th. The event serves as a preview to Art You Can Eat, a summer cooking series to be held at NOMA this summer.

Cakes from both amateur and professional chefs will be judged in the following categories:

Funniest/Punniest

Best Visual Presentation

Most Creative

Most Like a Book

Professional (professional chefs only)

Deadline for entries is April 1; the event is open to the general public with standard price of entry to the museum. Judging begins at 4:30. Brennan's Executive Pastry Chef Brett Gauthier will present a cake tips and tricks demo at 7:00 with a tasting, and winners will be announced.
