King Cake Taste Off

City of Sulphur's Mardi Gras Parade will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m.
The parade will consist of Mardi Gras Krewes, merchants, individuals, groups and organizations, and the route will be from Cypress Street through the S-Curve to South Huntington Street.

In addition to the parade this year, the City has also added a day-long festival at Heritage Square which will include live music, food vendors, and entertainment for the kids from 12:30-6:30!
There will also be a King Cake Taste Off from 3:00-5:00 with local bakeries competing to take first place in the following categories: Best Traditional Non-Filled King Cake, Best Filled King Cake, Best Amateur/Individual Entry, Best Decorated King Cake, Most Creative King Cake, and People's Choice! The King Cake Taste-off is FREE to the public, so come taste the best King Cakes that Southwest Louisiana has to offer and cast your vote for People's Choice!
