| Time: | All day |
|
The Makers Fair recreates the lively vibe that once was commonplace in this historic, downtown neighborhood. The Texas Avenue Makers Fair was founded as a way to draw the community to this underutilized section of Downtown Shreveport as the Texas Avenue Community Association and other organizations work to revitalize the area. Makers (Vendors) offer a wide assortment of handmade, re-purposed or reconstructed items ranging from clothing and fashion accessories to toys, food and art. An unusual assortment of roving entertainers and performances are scheduled throughout the day – you will never experience the same Makers Fair twice. Located at the corner of Texas Avenue and Common Street in downtown Shreveport, Abundant free parking is available near the event. |
