 The annual “Mandeville City Seafood Festival” will pay homage to talented musicians, who will carry on the message of Louisiana music. 

This popular festival celebrated on the 4th of July has a new organizer and name (formerly Mandeville Seafood Festival) as of 2013, but will still feature seafood and alternative dishes, live music, arts and craft booths, and a children's entertainment area, as well as a nightly fireworks show. , . 

The Greater New Orleans Region is known for its music, food and vacation destination. The concert site is just 45 minutes from

downtown New Orleans. The area where the concert is taking place is known as the Ozone Belt where the air is clean and the ozone water is famous for its purity. In the early days of New Orleans the wealthy would travel to this area because they believed it to have health curing powers. You can see miles of beautiful pines, oak, magnolia trees with Lake Pontchartrain a stones throw from the site.  This is the reason for the site selection for “Mandeville City Seafood Festival” because its accessibility by interstates and major highways allowing so many different states access to the event. Plus, there will be travel baseball teams playing across the street from Fontainebleau State Park at Pelican Park. So these visitors will be able to experience true Louisiana food, music and fireworks for their families.
