Susan and I started conceptualizing Louisiana Kitchen about two years ago. As we shared our ideas and vision with others we were met with resounding excitement and enthusiasm and we knew the final product would be well received—but we really had no idea just how great a demand there was for a publication offering an in-depth, informed, intelligent, lushly visual exploration of all aspects of Louisiana's culinary culture. Reader response has been far more wholehearted than we ever imagined.

For those of you who have subscribed to the magazine, we are getting close to finalizing the July issue of the magazine and we are eager to share it with you. If you have not yet subscribed, there's still time. We will mail another round of subscriber copies in early June.
