The River City Fest will be held on the banks of the Sabine River in the Dennis Freeman Riverfront Memorial Park. River City Fest is held the first weekend of May. Events include a carnival, Walk-A-Thon (usually to raise funds for various causes), parade, Treasure Hunt (for $500.00 prize), entertainment various musical groups, cheerleaders, tumblers, etc. Performances on the amphitheater stage throughout the festival; there are craft booths, lots of great food booths, a dunking booth, face painting, games of skill, a frog race, organized team competitions such as volleyball, and endurance games. A name band plays for a big dance on Saturday night. A fun time has been ordered for all that attend. Please watch our news announcements for updates.
