 2nd Annual Love Your Kidneys 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run/ Walk

8:00 a.m.: 1 mile Charity Walk, 8:30 a.m.: 5K
 The "Love Your Kidneys" 5K run and 1 mile fun run/walk raises money for the programs and services of the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana, Inc. There are over 8,000 dialysis patients in Louisiana and another 460,000 living with chronic kidney disease. Every dollar of the funds raised will support patients living in CENLA and provide important public health information to prevent kidney disease and promote organ donation.

Run or walk, just get outside and challenge yourself to cross the finish line of the 5K (3.1 miles) or the 1 Mile. The event is the Saturday before Father's Day so it is a great family fun event.
