Geek4Life ,the geek community in the Ark-La-Tex has the biggest and most passionate groups of geeks you can find anywhere. They’ve displayed their commitment during multiple events across the area, from conventions to weekly game tournaments. Even with the passion this community has displayed, they have continued to be severely underserved when it comes to large events. It is our purpose to fix that. Vendors , comic book stores, cell phone retailers, video game outlets, book stores, hobby shops, artists, writers, and more will participate. The event will also feature national headliners including comic book artists, stars of TV ,film, and professional cos play groups. Geek’d Convention will also host a full scale cos play competition. The potential for live interactive sponsored events and panels exists as well. |
