Martha Washington Chocolate Balls

Serves a crowd

Ingredients: 
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup nuts, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut
  • 2 boxes confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 block paraffin wax
  • 12 oz. semi sweet chocolate

Method: 

Mix first five ingredients together. Roll in balls and refrigerate until hard. Melt paraffin wax and chocolate together in a double boiler. Dip the balls into the chocolate to coat, and drop onto parchment or waxed paper.
