Shrimp Portions When Cooking

Submitted by admin

You can usually purchase about a quarter pound per person when preparing a snack or appetizer. Allow a third of a pound plus a little per guest when it will be the main course. Naturally, you know your guests and their appetites best so use your own judgement.

By the way, shrimp are one of the few proteins that freeze well, so buy them from the freezer aisle if not available otherwise.
