The largest outdoor Arts festival in North Louisiana, the Red River Revel Arts Festival, will attract more than 180,000 people to the Shreveport riverfront from October 5-12, 2013. The Revel will, once again, populate Festival Plaza with over 100 visual artists from throughout the country displaying fine art creations in ceramics, watercolors, oils & acrylics, metals, and other mediums. The Children's Area will offer art projects, face painting, a mock geological dig, and many more activities for "kids" of all ages. Music, Dance, and various performing artists will perform on three outdoor stages all eight days. From locals to up-and-coming and headline performers, Revel entertainment is always spectacular! Keith Urban, Colt Ford, Better Than Ezra, George Clinton, The Band Perry, and Cupid are some of the headliners that have graced our stages. 17 local, non-profit organizations offer scrumptious, delectable edibles throughout the 8-day festival.
