J.Lee's Pulled Pork

Sandwich

Serves a crowd

Ingredients: 
  • 9 to 12 pound pork but
  • 1/2 cup Ac'cent seasoning
  • 1/2 cup granulated garlic
  • 1/2 your favorite BBQ rub
  • 2-3 cups J. Lee's Gourmet BBQ Sauce

Method: 

Remove pork butt from packaging; rinse well.

Rub all over with dry rub. Pour 1/2 cup of water into large crock pot; place pork inside, close the lid and cook on low for 8 hours, or up to 12 hours.

Remove cooked pork to a baking sheet; pour remaining cooking liquid into a large bowl and reserve.

When cool enough to handle, separate the fat from the lean meat; shred lean meat into bowl with reserved cooking liquid, dispose of fat.

Toss meat with granulated garlic, Ac'cent, and J.Lee’s Gourmet BBQ Sauce to taste.

Serve on toasted sandwich buns and top with a crunchy cole slaw.
