The twelfth night after Christmas (January 6th) is called the Feast of the Epiphany, King's Day, or simply Twelfth Night. It is the official end of the Christmas season and in New Orleans it's the official start of the Carnival season that leads up to the day before Ash Wednesday, or Mardi Gras. You can count on us to bring you parade news, balls, party food, special recipes, and more. Stay tuned!

LSU Wins over Georgia headed towards showdown with Alabama

Not that many of us need a reminder - it's game day on Saturday and Sunday in Louisiana; the LSU Tigers and the New Orlean Saints are both having spectacular seasons. The entire family of web sites is currently in development mode. Our first project was the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board's Culinary Central Stage at the New Orleans Home and Garden Show.
