 This year, Federal City will host the family-friendly event with live music, food trucks, drinks and tons of activities for kids. The line-up for Algiers Fest 2018 is stellar:

Jon Cleary w/ Spec Guest Walter Wolfman Washington  5:30pm -7:00pm
Geno Delafose and French Rocking Boogie  3:45pm -5:00pm
Hot 8 Brass Band  2:00pm-3:15pm
Little Freddie King  12:30pm-1:30pm
Casme Barnes  11:30am-12:00pm
Marine Corps Band  11:00am-11:30am

“The military has been part of our history in New Orleans for over a hundred years. Algiers Fest is the only festival in New Orleans honoring our military on an annual basis.  Our teams at New Orleans Riverside at Federal City take great pride in inviting the community of Greater New Orleans to share with us in celebrating our military community,” said Kathy Lynn Honaker, Executive Director for the three organizations who run the Festival.

To honor the military, there will be hourly raffle giveaways to active duty military personnel.
