Start your Christmas shopping with a visit to the streets of historical Grand Coteau. Starting at 3pm, Father Derrick Weingartener, Pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Church, and Father James Bradley, Director of The Jesuit Spirituality Center at St. Charles College, will bless the life size nativity scene on display at the corner of Hwy 93 and Church Street. It is handmade by an artist in Utah, made of resin and marble, and has a lifetime guarantee. It is the only one of its kind in the Acadiana area. 

The gift shops will be open for your convenience offering refreshments and sales of antiques, jewelry, clothing, packaged sweets, home decor and other unique gift items. Enjoy holiday traditions such carriage rides, live music at various locations, and photos with Santa. Popular food trucks will be on hand offering their specialties. Bring the entire family for a memorable evening.
