The National Fried Chicken Fest will showcase restaurants from California, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Louisiana at this year's festival. The festival will also feature popular San Francisco Bay Area, California vegan restaurant Veganation who will prepare their signature vegan cajun southern fried chicken and waffles. Local restaurants include We Dat's Chicken & Shrimp, Ma Momma's House of Cornbread, Chicken & Waffles, Bayou Hot Wings, Felipe's Taqueria, Diva Dog, and many more.  Again this year in partnership with Capital One Bank and its Getting Down to Business program, one up and coming chef was able to win their spot in the festival. This year's winner is Chef Ryan Galle, owner of Flavor Creations LLC, a recent graduate of Capital One Bank's small business development program. For the full list of restaurants, click here.

This is a free outdoor festival in New Orleans that brings the community together to celebrate and indulge in one of America's favorite dishes. There will also be a variety of experiences for all ages including a kids pavilion, the GoNOLA Mist and Chill Lounge, the return of the Moet Chicken and Champagne VIP Lounge and the Crown Royalty Lounge will make its debut.
