Pioneer Day in the Denham Springs Antique & Arts District (On Mattie Street)

We have lined up a gristmill, the Louisiana Bee keepers observation deck where you can see the bee's at work, the cypress boat builders, a 1902 Fairbanks engine that runs, a covered wagon, farm implements and tools, members of the SASS single action shooters society that dress the part of the old cowboy days, and a Bluegrass Band playing from 11pm to 1pm.

Inside Old City hall will be a museum exhibit of vintage clothing, quilters and Tammy Mulhearn from the Livingston Parish Library will have a puppet show, "Epossum Ondas", at 1:30pm upstairs for the children. On the steps of old City Hall will be chair caning by Charles Crowder and Jesse Eaves will have his knot tying display. We will have jambalaya, desserts, jams, jellies, & honey.
