The simplest way to slice a bunch of cherry tomatoes is to sandwich them between two plastic lids and run a long knife through all of them at once! Try to select tomatoes of approximately same size place in one layer on bottom lid and cover with another lid. Hold with one hand while you run your knife through the space between the lids. It helps if your knife is sharp.
