The Annual Saint Eugene Parish Alligator Festival is Sunday the 6th of October on the Mermentau River at Grand Chenier Park beginning at 10am. The festival includes the Little Mr. & Miss Alligator Festival Pageant, the South Cameron High School Dazzlers Dance Line, live baby gators, live music with Teardrops, a big prize raffle, live & silent auction with great deals for early Christmas shopping, Barbecue Chicken & Beef Dinners & of course Fried Alligator and more.
