Hot Wings with Bleu Cheese

Serves 8

Ingredients: 

 

  • 1 jar of Bleu Cheese Salad Dressing
  • 1½ pounds chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded
  • 1 jar of fresh salsa
  • 1 cup jalapeños with juice
  • 5 cloves of garlic diced
  • favorite hot wing sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 bunch celery

Method: 

In a large Ziplock bag, add chicken wings, salsa, garlic and jalapeños, and mix in bag until chicken is completely coated. Marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours or overnight. 

Preheat the grill for low heat.  Lightly oil the grill grate. Arrange chicken on the grill, and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken wings on one side for 20 minutes, then turn.  Continue grilling 25 minutes, or until juices run clear.

Meanwhile, mix wing sauce and butter together.  Place chicken in a bowl and top wing mixture stirring until completely coated.

Serve with  bleu cheese salad dressing and celery sticks…spicy and good!
