Food, music, carnival rides and pirates! The Louisiana Pirate Festival is taking place Thursday, May 2 – Sunday, May 5, along the shores of Lake Charles and at the Lake Charles Civic Center, 900 Lakeshore Drive. Friday, May 3, festival pirates land along the shoreline, and Mayor Hunter of the City of Lake Charles walks the plank! There will be special events, Todd Armstrong Carnival Rides, Louisiana crafts and the culinary coffer throughout the festival.

 

You will not want to miss the bathtub races and bed races, back by popular demand! Other activities include the American Cornhole Organization Regional Competition, costume contests, Gator Grand Prix Go-Kart Races, the Barbecue Competitors Alliance (BCA) Cajun Pirate Cook-off, fireworks over the lake and more!
