Annual Sweet Dough Pie Festival |

| This free family event will celebrate the unique culture and history of Grand Coteau, and will include a sweet dough pie contest with judging done by the general public. Visitors can browse through over 110 vendors of true arts and crafts while enjoying local food and live music by Sheryl Cormier, Naomi Broussard and Lisa Trahan. Guided tours will be given of St. Charles Borromeo Church, St. Ignatius School and the historic cemetery. A guided trolley car tour of the town will also be available that will focuse on the 25+ homes that are on the National Registry of Historic Places. Everyone is encouraged to get there early as the sweet dough pies will sell out! Monies raised will benefit the Grand Coteau Cultural Foundation. No alcohol or pets please. | |
