What a year it has been. Susan and I would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to you for subscribing to Louisiana Kitchen & Culture magazine. Your subscription helped make it possible to turn our dream magazine into a reality. We have produced four issues this year and we have editorial ideas mapped out for 2013. We think you'll love it.

Some Info About Our Magazine Subscribers

In each magazine we celebrate Louisiana's distinct culinary culture and traditions presenting plenty of tested recipes, professionally written articles and fine photography covering the entire state. Our product seems to appeal to those of us who live here, many who have moved away, and to others who enjoy vacation and business travel to Louisiana. Men make up about 40% of our subscribers, and you come from all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, and five foreign countries.

Our Request

We are a young publishing/media company and we are asking for your continued support. Here's what you can do to help us continue to grow:

  • Give a gift subscription. To those of you who have already done so, a big thank you. We have made it easy with a special holiday offer; this holiday season is the only chance to give a FULL set of Louisiana Kitchen & Culture, starting with the May 2012 Premiere Issue Collector's Edition.
  • Make sure you connect with us on our Facebook page (become a fan); click the large f over there on the right.
  • Forward this newsletter as well as our normal Thursday eNews to friends and family. Spreading the word will help us earn new readers who then become subscribers, critical to our continued growth.
  • Post our recipes to your own Facebook pages, and email them to friends, Pin and like us on Pinterest.
  • If you are a member of forums or alumni associations or other groups, make sure you tell them about us.

Order gifts by December 14 and we'll send all of the 2012 issues of the magazine (4) via priority mail with a custom gift card from you. Your recipients will receive the package before Christmas, and a 1-year subscription to them will start with the January/February 2013 issue. The cost is just $45, including shipping and handling.

We are also offering a 1- or 2-year subscription, both starting with the January/February 2013 issue.
