It's hard to believe but it's only three weeks to Thanksgiving, one of my favorite holidays of the year. I do a traditional roasted turkey, stuffing, (although I'm adding LKC columnist Hardette Harris' family's cornbread dressing this year), mashed potatoes, gravy (sometimes I think I roast the turkey just so I can make gravy), green beans with mushrooms, and a big salad. I don't have a sweet tooth, so my husband is in charge of dessert.

I think the Thanksgiving meal is the one people are most opinionated over, mainly because it's comprised of food we only eat a few times a year. I mean, I'd happily eat stuffing and mashed potatoes, both slathered in gravy, every single day if I could, but I'd be big as a house. What are some of your family favorites for the Thanksgiving table? Email me.

This recipes calls for no-boil lasagna and good-quality jarred marinara sauce; you'll have the filling assembled in the ten minutes it takes to soak the noodles. Then it bakes unattended for about 40 minutes, leaving plenty of time to make a salad and visit with guests..
