Scarlett O'Hara

Serves 1

  • 1½ ounces Southern Comfort
  • 1½ ounces cranberry juice
  • ​1 squeeze of lime

Combine all ingredients in a tall glass. Mix well and garnish with a lime wheel.


​Pour the Southern Comfort, lime juice and cranberry juice into a shaker with ice, and shake well. Strain into a sour or Collins glass.

Other variations on this recipe use grenadine instead of cranberry juice or peach liqueur instead of Southern Comfort.

​Note: Some claim this drink was invented in 1939 as a tie-in to the film when Rhett and Scarlett honeymoon in New Orleans.
