I'm confused. Is it rum or vodka or both in the Sparkling Rudolph? Vodka, not rum, is in the ingredient list but only rum in the method. I can try either one or both, but what is the original?

It's vodka! We have leftover rum from a cranberry rum punch we made at Thanksgiving and thought we'd use it to make a sparkler, but it was vile, so we swapped to vodka but forgot to change the method.

We'll keep fiddling with the rum.
