Blue Cheese Dip

Makes 2 cups

Ingredients: 
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed or minced
  • 1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter milk or milk, as needed
  • salt, as needed

Method: 

Mix all ingredients together, adding milk (or buttermilk) if needed to thin. Taste for salt.

Note: Pictured with buffalo shrimp and celery sticks, this dip is a great addition to any crudite platter; thin it with a bit more milk for an excellent salad dressing.
