Sazerac Cocktail

Serves 1

  • 2 dashes Herbsaint
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz Rye whiskey
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon peel

Rinse an Old Fashioned glass with Herbsaint. Stir Rye, bitters, syrup (or a teaspoon of sugar) with plenty of ice.
Drain over/off from the ice.

Serve with lemon peel.
